Hickory – Attention Drummers! If you are struggling with lack of sports and other outlets of self expression, consider playing drums!!! The Piedmont percussion program will start back on August 16 till Nov 8. The program has been in existence under diff names since 1995 under the direction of Rick Cline. Kids of all ages gather to form percussion ensembles where they not only learn to read music and play together as a group, but they learn about and how to play the many dozens of various percussion instruments. P3 was the co host of the 2019 NC Day of Percussion held at LRU and has performed dozens of times a past DAY of Percussion. Each semester ends with a concert. The groups meet on Sundays at the SALT block.

Advanced: 2-245pm
Intermediate: 3-345pm
Fundamental: 4-445pm
The community steel drum band will meet 3-345. In keeping with safety measures P3 will be following strict CDC guidelines. Routine sanitation of instruments, wearing of masks, 15 mins. between groups to recirculate air and a maximum of 10 kids per group.
