Conover, NC – Sipes Orchard Home of Conover was recently awarded a grant for $20,000 from the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) to provide funds to support the purchase of two vehicles to support the transportation needs of the organization’s residents.
Since its founding in 1943, Sipes Orchard Home has aimed to be a safe and caring place for children and adolescents and provides a variety of programming including parenting classes, transitional living and a summer day camp.
“Sipes Orchard Home has been a pillar of this community for more than 70 years,” said Hickory McDonald’s Owner/Operator Heather Joyner. “It’s our honor to partner with an organization that does so much to serve the needs of the most precious members in our community.”
