Taylorsville, NC – The very popular Studio3 Chorale, an adult community choir, will once again present its annual Spring Concert on Friday evening, May 17th at 7:30 pm. Come to Calvary Baptist Church, 185 5th Avenue North in Taylorsville. This highly anticipated concert is free and open to the public. Seating is general admission, first come, first serve.
The Studio3 Chorale has grown in popularity since its creation three years ago. The performances have been extremely well received, and this one will be no different.
Led by the capable hands of Conductor Jordan Dagenhart and Assistant Conductor and Accompanist Bernadette Watts, each song is chosen to inspire and appeal to the diverse audiences that come from Alexander and surrounding counties.
The Spring Concert will offer the traditional spirituals of Moses Hogan, a gorgeous piece edited by Dan Forrest, “Sing You Home,” the song “To Sit and Dream,” with lyrics by Langston Hughes, with its unique and captivating chords and message, and many more. The Studio3 Chorale Concerts always have something for everyone.
