Hickory – Why is it called The Day After Party? It is being held on February 15, the day after Valentine’s Day. But, this isn’t a party just for valentines, it is a dance party for everyone. Enjoy an evening of dancing, music, desserts, and a cash bar with friends or lovers, or come and make new ones.
The event is at The Crossing at Hollar Mill on February 15 from 8 p.m. until midnight. Attire is casual. Tickets include desserts, DJ Dash, dancing, and cash bar. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
“Since this will be the biggest and best dance party ever, we don’t want to leave anyone out,” said Ronda Queen, Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer. “We have decided that for every ticket someone purchases, or will purchase on-line in advance, they can bring one friend for free and won’t need a physical ticket. He or she can just come to check-in with the ticketed person.”
A portion of the proceeds will go to Partners for Cats and NC Paws Rescue, which are two local 501(c)(3) charities dedicated to rescuing and caring for kittens and cats in the area.
“Our mission is to create high quality events within our community that not only benefit the people attending the events, but that also benefit local charities. We believe strongly in an “everyone wins” scenario for each and every event we host,” said Courtney Gates, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. “We get to do something we love, our guests get to experience an event they will never forget, and local charities benefit from the money we are able to raise.”

About Partners for Cats
The goal of Partners for Cats is to lead and educate the communities we live in to have compassion and a sense of responsibility towards the care and protection of all cats. Partners for Cats was formed by a group of experienced Cat rescue people who felt more help was needed in their local community to help reduce the population of homeless cats. They are strong no-kill advocates who are working to develop programs to educate the public and to encourage community involvement in finding homes for tame cats and providing Trap/Neuter/Spay/Vaccinate/Return (TNSVR) for community or feral cats.
