Hickory – The Encore Players of the Hickory Community Theatre kick off a second weekend of their laugh-out-loud comedy, The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery, with a discount performance on Thursday evening in the Firemen’s Kitchen. Performances this weekend are Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. The run continues through Sunday, July 28. Tickets are available by phone at 828-328-2283 or online at hickorytheatre.org.
This play about an amateur British drama group struggling to put on their annual production is filled with wildly funny mishaps, and in the middle of it there’s a fashion show and a quiz!
Performances of The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery are Thursdays (July 18 & 25) at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays (July 19, 20, 26 & 27) at 8:00pm, and Sundays (July 21 & 28) at 2:30pm. Tickets for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $10 for students and youth 18 & under. Thursday night tickets are $14 for all adults (19 and over) and $10 for students and youth 18 & under.
