Hickory – The Graceful Geese Mercantile, a new local artisan gallery featuring over 100 local artisans along with one-of-a-kind antiques and vintage items collected by its owners over the years, will hold their official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 23 at 4:30pm with live music from local musician Katelyn Johnson from 5pm-6pm. The Chamber of Catawba County and Mayor Pro Tem Danny Seavers along with other areas businesses, community members, and chamber ambassadors will welcome them to the community as a kick-off to Hickory Furniture Mart’s Memorial Day Weekend Sale, May 24-27.
The first 100 visitors to stop by The Graceful Geese Mercantile’s showroom on Friday, May 24 (doors open at 9am) will receive a special Graceful Geese Swag Bag. Browse through over 100 different local artisan booths and enjoy music by local musicians along with book readings and signings by local authors and paintings demonstrations by local artists.
