Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre is thrilled to unveil its exciting 2025–2026 season! This year’s lineup offers something for everyone, from classic plays and toe-tapping musicals to thought-provoking dramas and family-friendly favorites.
The season opens with Junk, a quirky and heartfelt original musical by Jeff Hartman and Molly Bass, celebrating its 10th anniversary. This special production dives into the world of yard sales, personal baggage, and the unexpected treasures we find in each other.
The full season also includes King Lear performed as Shakespeare in the Park at Southside Park in Newton, Pride & Prejudice, Shrek the Musical, The Thursday Night Bridge Circle, Jack and the Beanstalk, Four Old Broads, Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years, and The Wizard of Oz.
