Morganton, NC – The 42nd Annual Morganton Festival is set for Friday, September 6th from 12:00-11:00pm and Saturday, September 7th from 9:00am-10:00pm in downtown Morganton, North Carolina. The festival features 2 stages with free music each evening on the Courthouse Square Stage, dancers, acrobats and theater talents on the Pepsi Stage and wonderous amazements on the Kid Zone stage. In addition to the entertainment there is fun with rides and games, food for all ages, plus over a mile of arts and crafts vendors!

ALL CONCERTS ARE FREE! Entrance into the festival grounds are FREE!

 Friday, September 6th 7:30-9:00pm – Brandon Bethel

Brandon Bethel was born in Salisbury, North Carolina. Brandon grew up in the small town of Morganton, North Carolina, where he sang in church, school functions, and has always been in, and around music. Brandon has always loved music, and with the encouragement of his peers, decided to take it seriously, with singing karaoke, auditioning for hit tv shows such as American Idol and The Voice.

Brandon brings a different sound to his style of country music, with music influences such as Charlie Pride, Darius Rucker, Chris Stapleton, just to name a few. Brandon has opened for red dirt country artists, such as Josh Ward, Kevin Fowler, Jon Stork, Parker McCollum, Wade Bowen, and has even had the opportunity to share the stage with other talented artist such as Larry Fleet, Kaitlin Butts, Wyatt Flores, and members from the Turnpike Troubadours.

Friday, September 6th 9:30-11:00pm – Drake Milligan

Drake Milligan, born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, is a multifaceted talent making waves in the Country Music scene and entertainment. With a voice that resonates with authenticity and depth, Milligan has captivated audiences with his soulful performances and magnetic presence.

Milligan competed on NBC’s America’s Got Talent (AGT) during season 17 and became a fan-favorite and Top 3 finalist. He recently returned to primetime television to compete on AGT’s new spin-off show Fantasy League, before hitting the road with country superstar and fellow Texan Cody Johnson for his 2024 The Leather Tour.
