Hickory – Calling all Goblins and Ghouls! Put on your spooky or kooky costumes and hurry to Downtown Hickory on Saturday, October 28, from 11am till 1pm. Scour the streets for clues on the scavenger hunt! Show us your creative side with fun craft activities. Bring your camera for some photo ops! Dress in your Halloween best and enter the costume contest.
Three categories of costumes will be judged by the Hickory Community Theatre Guild who have graciously donated tickets for the play Anastasia, on stage November 24 through December 16.
There are 3 age categories for the costume contest: Ages 0-6, Ages 7-12, and Families.
Jason Savage from WHKY will emcee the contest.

The Hickory Downtown Development Association (HDDA) is a private, non-profit 501(c)6, member organization with a volunteer Board of Directors representing a broad cross-section of property owners, business owners, and citizens-at-large.
HDDA is a member of the North Carolina Main Street program with the purpose of stimulating economic development and community improvement within the context of historic preservation.
