Hickory – Hickory Church of Christ is inviting everyone to its annual Trunk-or-Treat which takes place Sunday, October 29, 2023, 5:30pm – 6:30pm in its front parking lot. This fun, family-focused, God-honoring event is one you will want to attend.
The disciples of Christ of Hickory Church of Christ are imperfect, while learning to love more perfectly. They are devoted to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42). Engaging 9:30am Bible Classes, for all ages, and an uplifting 10:30am worship/Kingdom Kids’ worship are held each Sunday. Wednesday prayer and Bible discussions are at 6:30pm around back in the Fellowship Hall and Kids’ mid-week Bible classes are at 7pm.
Hickory Church of Christ has served Catawba County for over 75 years. Parents’ Night Out, for kids 0-16 years old, is offered throughout the year. Millennials’ Bible study is on Wednesdays in the church “Hut” and the church conducts a weekly Bible study at Lenoir-Rhyne University on Thursday evenings. Men’s Bible Study gatherings are the 2nd Saturdays at 8am around back in the Fellowship Hall and Ladies’ Bible Studies are the 1st Sundays at 6:30pm and the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 11am in the Fellowship Hall.
