Valdese, NC – The Town of Valdese is seeking your input. Share your opinion and help shape the 2024 Valdese Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan will identify short- and long-range goals in order to properly prioritize the Town’s fiscal year budget, future spending, and capital improvement plan.
Public input is vital to understanding public concerns, and priorities, and determining the Town’s overall vision. Public meetings will be held on January 17th and January 24th from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at the Old Rock School, 400 Main St. W Suite 35, Valdese, NC 28690. During these meetings, an analysis of Valdese’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) will be conducted.
You may scan the attached QR code to take the online version of this survey. Alternatively, there is a paper copy attached that you may complete and use the pre-stamped envelope to return. Please only submit one version, online or paper, of the survey per person. Please complete and return the survey by January 26. 2024.

All Valdese stakeholders are welcome to participate, whether residents, business owners or employees. Survey responses will be kept anonymous.
The results of the survey, public SWOT analysis, and Town Council SWOT analysis will be compiled and included in the strategic plan.
