This year’s celebration will feature an opening band which is a Valdese FFN favorite, Little Johnny Trailer Trash followed by a special headlining performance by On the Border, The Ultimate Eagles Tribute.
Little Johnny Trailer Trash (LJTT) hails from the Piedmont of North Carolina and infuses traditional/contemporary with a touch of Bluegrass, rock and Americana. “Americana Music” best classifies this band: simple true and catchy tunes that make you want to tap your feet and sing along. Soaring harmonies and smooth melodies make this band one to watch. LJTT were recently featured as a top 32 band on CMT’s show called “CMT’s Music City Madness,” which features the original song “They Sang Country”.
After a brief intermission and raffle drawing, the music for the night will continue with a long awaited performance by On the Border, The Ultimate Eagles Tribute. From Charlotte, NC, the band continues to be the most exciting and authentic EAGLES Tribute! What sets the On The Border apart from the other Eagle Tribute’s, is that each member plays their respective character of the Eagles performing & singing their parts. Their passion, showmanship and precise attention to replicating the details of The Eagles Music, has earned them critical acclaim, name recognition and a very loyal following.
Valdese famous Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30pm (dependent on weather conditions). Regarded as one of the most impressive fireworks display in the area, the Town of Valdese sponsors this Independence Day Celebration with fireworks that burst at a lower altitude which allows for a more brilliant presentation and fireworks that contain a variety of swirls and explosions. The evening will conclude with a final hour of outstanding music by On The Border, The Ultimate Eagles Tribute.
