Hickory – Quick! The sun and the moon are having a meeting at Catawba Science Center from 1:00 PM– 4:30 PM on April 8th! It’s going to be a spectacular Eclipse Event with FREE fun-filled activities to enjoy!
Members of the Catawba Valley Astronomy Club will be on-site with equipment to view the eclipse up close. Certified eclipse glasses will also be available to the first 500 participants thanks to Graystone Eye for the protection of participants as we watch the partial stages of the eclipse!
Guests may also explore the planetarium/aquarium building for a reduced admission price of $5 per person, members are FREE!
