Hickory – The Hickory Museum of Art is currently showing the 74th Annual Paul Whitener Memorial Student Art Show in the Shuford Gallery through May 2. This annual event, started by the Museum’s founder and first director Paul Whitener, provides an opportunity for local students from Hickory and Catawba County schools to exhibit in the Museum and for family members and school representatives to demonstrate their support.
This year elementary, middle and high schools will hang together. Due to Covid-19 interruptions, some schools will be participating digitally and artwork will be presented on monitors in the Shuford Gallery.
