Hickory – The Hickory Community Theatre’s annual fundraiser, The Vacation Extravaganza, (also known as “the best party in Hickory”) will take place on Monday, June 10th, beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are $125, which admits two for the party. The ticket also provides one chance to win either of two prizes, the $10,000 grand prize or the new $1,000 “second chance.” Although the event retains its traditional name, the winner of either prize receives a cash payout.
Tickets are still available for purchase by phone at 828-327-3855, online at hickorytheatre.org or in person at the Theatre. The operating hours of the Theatre are Monday through Friday from 11-5.
The 2019 Vacation Extravaganza is sponsored by Catawba Valley Medical Center, John D. Brinkley, III, Dr. George and Mrs. Sandra Clay, III, DDS, Justin Long – Prudential Financial, Steve Austin, Broome Associated Insurance, and the Olde Hickory Brewery and Thomas and Christina McKean. The Hickory Community Theatre is a Funded Affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County.
