Hudson, NC – You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown is the summer theatre production of the Town of Hudson. On Wednesday, June 24, an 11:00 AM daytime show specifically geared toward an audience of children will be presented at the HUB Station and Performing Arts Auditorium, 145 Cedar Valley Road in Hudson. For any child in attendance, aged 12 or younger, there will be a costume contest that day, if anyone cares to participate. Come as your favorite Charlie Brown comic strip character and the child achieving the most applause will win a crisp $50 bill. Then after the show, you are welcome to come up and get your photo made with the cast, consisting of Josh Poole (Charlie Brown), Emmy French (Lucy van Pelt), Marshall Johnson (Linus van Pelt), Brian Clark (Snoopy), Ethan Poteat (Schroeder) and Hannah Cano (Peppermint Patty).
There are also three evening performances, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 25th, 26th and 27th. These are dinner theatre productions with a meal catered by Dan’l Boone Inn. The dinner is served at 6:30 with the show to follow at 7:30. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for children for the Wednesday daytime show. Snacks will be provided. The evening shows are $37 for the show and the meal, $20 for the show only.
