Hickory – May 17, 2018 brings a plethora of artwork to Downtown Hickory. The Downtown Hickory Art Crawl boasts the works of more than 60 artists along with pottery demonstrations and music, all with an easily walkable four block area.
The Kick-Off Party begins at 5:00 pm at Full Circle Arts, located at 42-B Third Street NW, where the reception for the Tiny Art Show will be held. Works by many of their 22 members will also be on display. Maps of the Art Crawl route and the participants will be available, so grab one and start crawling!

• Elegance Furniture Boutique, 221 First Avenue NW, 828-838-1011, features furniture painting demonstrations and a Michael Jackson impersonator.
• Harris Arcade, 221 First Avenue NW, 828-322-5090, hosts the paintings of Mike Ogle in his second floor studio.
• Glazzy Girls Stained Glass, in the Harris Arcade, 221 First Avenue NW, 828-781-3779, demonstrates the art of making stained glass creations.
• Splentique Fashion Boutique, in the Harris Arcade, 221 First Avenue NW, 828-228-3758, offers a Splentique Trunk Show of fashionable art.
• Taste Full Beans Coffeehouse, 29 Second Street NW, 828-234-4266, has delicious coffee, muffins, and more. Featured artists are Arianna Mascetti (jewelry), Suzie McGee (quilling), Amy Weaver (photography), Lori Dixon (books & soaps), Casey Allen (painting), and Ruby Orton (painting).
• Trade Alley Art, 25 Second Street NW, 828-578-1076, is an artist-owned Co-Op with 26 featured artists who exhibit daily.
• Fanjoy Labrenz Photography Studio, 215-A First Ave NW, 828-324-8330, opens their studio for viewing their versatile images.
• Olde Hickory Station, 232 Government Avenue SW, 828-322-2356, has a new spring menu and more than 50 craft beers on tap. The Station hosts Matthew Strawn (Intaglio Printing).
• Larry’s Music & Sound Teaching Studio, 266 Union Square, 828-261-0415, exhibits the oil and acrylic paintings of Karen Stinson.
• Anders Ruff Workshop, 264 Union Square, 805-458-2549, features the watercolors of Crystal Witherspoon.
• Bottega~A Soulful Place, 256 Union Squar, 828-217-2581, hosts Kent Paulette (oil paintings), Len Rusnek (ceramics), Matt Wright (graffiti art) and Hannah Grace (paintings).

• Foot Solutions, 242 Union Square, 828-328-9844, has a Board Certified staff to assist you with your footwear needs. Reverend Robert Roach exhibits watercolors with pen & ink details. Rodney Smith of MUD Shack Pottery demonstrates his pottery techniques on Union Square in front of Foot Solutions.
• Hickory Wine Shoppe, 238 Union Square, 828-324-4441, hosts oil paintings and cigar box guitars by Selina Setzer and the musical sounds of Centerpiece Jazz Guitar Duo.

• Bisque n Beads, 232 Union Square, 828-324-4244, is a place to be creative. Classes and special events are offered regularly. Acrylic paintings by Ernie Sills are showcased.

• Under the Sails on the Square, find Brandon Pope and his aerial photography.

• The Flag Court, features the artwork of Eugenie Fein.
