Hickory – The City of Hickory will close its offices on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day, but garbage and recycling pick-up will continue.
The City of Hickory offices will re-open on Thursday, July 5, at 8:30am.

Hickory Public Library
Hickory Public Library, the Patrick Beaver Memorial main facility and the Ridgeview Branch, will be closed on Wednesday, July 4. The library will re-open at its regular hours on Thursday, July 5.
Parks & Recreation Dept.
The administrative offices, skate park, and all recreation centers will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.
Parks are open 365 days a year.
