Hickory – The City of Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism presents Junior Home Run Derby on Tuesday, July 20. Competition begins at 6pm at Kiwanis Park, Field 3, 805 6th St SE, Hickory, NC 28602. There is no fee to enter but registration is required.
Major League Baseball® Jr. Home Run Derby™ powered by @MLBdevelops is a fun and exciting youth competition for talented youngsters to showcase their hitting abilities, with the opportunity of competing at the Finals during the World Series™.
Boys and girls are divided into two age divisions: 12U and 14U, and will have the chance to advance through three levels of competition. The Local Champions from both age divisions will advance to the Regional Level, and Regional Champions will advance to the Finals, which will take place during the 2021 World Series™.
