Valdese, NC – Trail of Lights: The Trail of Lights will be open 6-9 pm daily from the November lighting ceremony through Dec. 24. The visitor’s center will be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for concessions. There will be no lights on Christmas Day, but the lights will be on during Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Old Colony Players Presents “Miracle on 34th Street”: A feel good holiday show for the whole family! PJ’s on Parade: Get ready to parade your family’s best Christmas pajamas Friday, December 13th for PJ’s on Parade! Head downtown at 6:00 PM for some holiday cheer and last minute shopping! Valdese businesses/organizations will be hosting special evening hours, as well as some of your favorite holiday characters! Grab a photo with Santa, the Grinch, Holiday Barbie Cousin Eddie and many more! Be sure to travel up and down Main Street as there will be lots of treats and fun activities all along the way!
Mingle with Kringle: Enjoy pancakes with Santa and friends at the Mingle with Kringle Breakfast, kindly sponsored by the Valdese Fire Department! Tickets include a pancake breakfast with a full topping bar, Christmas crafts, a visit with Santa and Sparky the Fire Dog, and a special treat bag to take home! Attend one of three sessions: 8:30 A.M., 9:30 A.M, and 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 14th. Tickets are $2.00 per person, call 828-879-2129 to get yours!
Carolina Christmas Show: Celebrate the joy and magic of Christmas at the 7th annual Carolina Christmas Show, a dazzling, fun-filled production with live music, dance, & comedy! This heartwarming Broadway-style show, produced by musical theatre veterans Mario and Lucinda Morin (former Radio City Rockette), features a cast of talented performers from NC and special guest artists. Audiences will enjoy sacred and secular Christmas favorites including Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, O Holy Night, Snow, Jingle Bell Rock, Silent Night, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and more!
