Gastonia, NC – Members of the military are invited to spend the summer with their families at The Schiele. Enjoy FREE museum admission now through Labor Day, September 1.
The Schiele has partnered with Dignity Memorial and Blue Star Museums – a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America – to offer free admission for active military, veterans, and their families this summer.
Military members are allowed up to 5 family members for this program.
The military member DOES NOT have to be in attendance for the family to receive free museum admission.
If the military member is not present, a military family member must bring a valid I.D. listed above to receive free museum admission.
Children 10 years old or younger can attend with guardians who have I.D. listed above.
There is NO limit to how many visits a military family can use the free museum admission program from May 17 – September 1. Come as often as you’d like! This offer allows free regular museum exhibit & Farm admission only. The planetarium, and other programs or special events are not included. If you visit on the day of a special event, additional fees will apply.
