She Dances – Steve Zahn (who also had a hand in scripting the film) is a struggling father who desperately wants to connect with his estranged daughter in this drama from debuting director Rick Gomez.

NOW ON DISC:

Criterion:

The Oscar winning milestone of international cinema, A Man and a Woman (1966), the tale of two single parents who form a connection and featuring one of the greatest of all film scores, makes its long-awaited Blu Ray debut. Bonus materials include a making of doc, new director interview, and a short film.

Arrow:

Salem’s Lot (1979) Tobe Hooper’s fondly remembered made for TV adaptation of the Stephen King novel gets a 4K upgrade with three cuts of the film. Lots of bonus materials are on hand which include commentary, booklet, featurettes and interviews.

Kino:

Return of the Pink Panther (1975) After an 11-year gap, Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers reteamed for another entry in the series, which paved the way for two more films in the next four years. This new 4K upgrade includes all of the bonus archival materials from the 2017 set.

Another of Sellers’ final films, The Prisoner of Zenda (1979), also gets a Blu Ray upgrade with a new commentary track.

The Oscar winning musical biopic, Ray (2004), makes its way to the 4K format with all of the previously issued archival materials intact and a new commentary as well.

Malfeasance: Four Films by Yves Boisset (1971-1982) is a new collection of crime thrillers helmed by the French filmmaker. Films included are Angel’s Leap, Mad Enough to Kill, The Woman Cop and Rise Up.

Shout Factory:

Outbreak (1995) Wolfgang Peterson’s thriller about the attempts to contain a deadly virus comes to the 4K format with a few new extras.

Lionsgate:

The recent Oscar nominee, Marty Supreme (2025), makes its physical media debut in both 4K and Blu Ray formats. Also getting the first ever 4K treatment from the label this week is Greenland (2020) and its recent sequel, Greenland 2: Migration (2026).

Severin:

The Devil’s Rain (1975) William Shatner, John Travolta, Ernest Borgnine, Ida Lupino Tom Skerritt and Eddie Albert star in this tale of a family trying to rid themselves of a centuries long satanic curse. The release is brimming with bonus materials, some new and some archival.

Warner Archive:

The label is issuing quite a few catalog titles this week with the usual excellent transfers. These are The Gay Divorcee (1934), Scooby’s All-Star Laff-A-Lympics (1977-1978), The Man Who Came to Dinner (1942), It All Came True (1940), Tea and Sympathy (1956) and Honky Tonk (1941).
