Newton, NC – The NAACP Catawba County Branch invites community members to its October meeting on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Olin AME Zion Church, 2583 Smyre Farm Road, Newton, NC. Felicia Culbreath-Setzer, a Catawba County Board of Elections board member, will be the featured speaker. She will provide information about changes in voting, explain voter identification requirements, and answer questions from community members.
The discussion will also provide an opportunity for attendees to raise questions and concerns about the safety and security of the voting process. The NAACP Catawba County Branch encourages residents to attend, learn more about the voting process, and bring their questions.
