Hudson, NC – Wind & Woods Productions presents the 12th Annual Home for Christmas Concert at the HUB Station Hudson Arts Center, 145 Cedar Valley Road, Hudson, on Friday and Saturday, December 13th and 14th, 2024.  The concert will be catered by Sims Barbecue and will feature pork barbecue, chicken, slaw, baked beans, potato chips, rolls or corn fritters, peach cobbler and tea.  The meal will be served at 6:30 PM, followed by the concert at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $35 for the concert and meal, $20 for the concert only.  These prices include all tax, fees and handling charges and are on sale.  Call (828) 322-3169.  Please mark and save these dates.

The concert will feature a 50 voice choir, singing both sacred and secular songs of the season, including “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “Goin’ to Bethlehem,” “Look a That Star,” “Candlelight Carol,” “What Sweeter Music,” “Lo How a Rose,” “All on a Starry Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “White Christmas,” “Christmas in About Three Minutes,” “Nutcracker Jingle” and “Mary, Did You Know?”  Pastor Anne Wepner’s manger display will be featured in the room down the HUB Station Hall beside the elevator.

Director Keith Smith says, “As Christmas fast approaches those last couple of weeks before the big day, what better convenience than a day of shopping, followed by coming to partake of a meal that is already prepared, (you won’t have to cook!), peruse the halls of the Hudson Arts Center, enjoy a cold or warm beverage, witness the manger display and enjoy a concert by a fine choir singing favorites that will put you in the mood for the season!?  We encourage church groups, senior groups and family gatherings.  In encouragement of this group fellowship, tables of 8 will receive a $3 discount per ticket.  You must have the full group of 8 for this to apply.  Tickets for this event make a unique and practical Christmas gift!  This concert is dedicated to Evelyn Beam and Barbara Freiman, who have been great patrons and friends of all my artistic endeavors over the years.  This concert is a Wind & Woods Production and while supported by the Town, is not a Town of Hudson event.  I’m sure it can be confusing, but please do not call the HUB Station for tickets.”

Tickets may be acquired by calling (828) 322-3169 and leaving a message.  Your call will be returned.  You can also email [email protected].
