Hickory – Hickory barbershop ensemble Just for Fun singer Bill Jones announced that the group will be offering Singing Valentines this year. For $50 the group will perform two songs appropriate to the occasion and present the recipient with a red rose and a digital photo of the event.
Profits will be donated to local charities. The Valentines can be booked for Hickory, Bethlehem, Newton, Conover, and Mountain View all day Valentines Day.
“Everyone loves getting a Singing Valentine,” Jones said. “Having it performed at a workplace adds to the enjoyment.” He advised booking early since those calling late are often disappointed. Singers in the group are from Hickory, Bethlehem, Conover, and Lenoir.
