Hickory – Carolina Moonlighter President Lee DeArmond announced that the barbershop chorus’s show previously scheduled for Saturday, June 2 has been rescheduled to Sat., July 14 at 7 pm due to personnel issues.
The show, titled Tuneful Travels, a musical road trip along historic Route 66 will be held in the Arts Center Auditorium on the SALT Block in Hickory. Admission is free, though donations will be accepted. No tickets are necessary. Moonlighter Director Dennis Kimbleton states “join the Moonlighters for the classic American road trip from Chicago to LA as we enjoy songs of travel, traditional Americana, and just plain great melodies.”
Joining the Moonlighters will be the Carolinas District champion quartet, Technically Sound.
The Moonlighters sing a cappella in the barbershop style. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings at 7 pm in the Arts Center Annex on the SALT Block. Men who enjoy singing are always welcome to attend. For any questions, call Lee DeArmond at (828) 313-0758.
