Valdese NC – The Carolina Summer Show, a feel-good variety show with live music, dance, and comedy, will be performed at the beautiful Old Rock School auditorium in Valdese, NC June 20-21.
From the creators of the beloved Carolina Christmas Show, this high-energy, made-in-NC production will feature talented performers and technical artists from eight NC counties presenting a fantastic collection of pop, country, rock, Broadway, 50’s-60’s-70’s, jazz, patriotic, & gospel music, plus spectacular dancing & hilarious comedy! Audiences will enjoy familiar songs including Carolina In My Mind, September, My Heart Will Go On, I Got Rhythm, America the Beautiful, Great Balls of Fire, Signed Sealed Delivered, and more! It’s a fun-filled show created, produced, directed, & choreographed by Carolina Onstage, the husband and wife team of musical theatre veterans Mario & Lucinda Morin (former Radio City Rockette). Carolina Onstage is one of only a few minority-owned, female-owned professional theatre production companies in North Carolina, and one of just a handful in the region featuring a live band.
