Newton, NC – Classroom Connections, “Where Teachers Shop Free,” will host its first ever fund-raising concert featuring Ray Coussins. Ray Coussins, a world renown entertainer from Las Vegas, NV, has generously offered to perform a fundraising benefit concert for Classroom Connections on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7:30pm.
Mr. Coussins is a composer, director, singer, and masterful entertainer. As the preferred accompanist of Frank Sinatra, Ray has also performed with Celine Dion and many other musical “giants” during a career that takes him around the world. He appeared at the White House by Presidential Invitation and at Constitutional Hall. He has also performed at The Royal Command Performance in front of the Royal Family in the UK. Ray has been featured on The Tonight’s Show, Princess Cruise Lines, and several venues throughout the world.
Since opening, Classroom Connections has distributed over $380,000 in retail dollars of school supplies. This total is not indicative of our financial income, but from donations of supplies. Please, know that financial donations are needed for continuing this mission. Classroom Connections does not receive any federal, state or local public monies. We are dependent on donations from businesses, dedicated people, and fine generous organizations.
