Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre’s 40th season of live theatre is about to begin. Tickets are on sale now for Come From Away.
This hit musical, with book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded airline passengers who found unexpected kindness in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of 9/11. With a moving score and heartfelt storytelling, Come From Away celebrates community, compassion, and human connection in times of crisis.
Cargo Transporters, Green Park Dentistry, & DELCO Partners are producing Legally Blonde. Gabriel Beech is the director, Vicki Harvell is the music director, and Holley Dagenhardt and Gina Duckworth are the choreographers.
Performances are scheduled for September 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27, 2026 on Fridays and Saturdays, the performances will be at 7:30 pm, and on Sundays, they will be at 3:00 pm.
