Valdese, NC – Join us Friday, June 21st as we celebrate the first official day of summer and continue the Family Friday Nights Summer Concert Series with popular favorite, the Night Move Band! The show begins at 7:00 P.M. on Temple Field behind the Old Rock School. The FFN concert series is a FREE event that runs every Friday night from May 17th- August 30th in Valdese from 7-10:00 P.M. A different regional band is featured each night, playing a wide range of musical genres: country, classic rock, beach music, variety and more! Bring the entire family to enjoy an evening of community fun! Concert attendees are encouraged to enjoy concessions, kindly sponsored by local community theatre nonprofit, Old Colony Players! Hot popcorn, cold drinks, soft pretzels, candy, snow cones, ice cream and more! You can further support the performing arts by participating in the 50/50 raffle! Winner will take home half the grand prize! Old Colony Players will be performing the historic annual outdoor drama, “From This Day Forward” for its 56th season! The shows will begin July 12th and run each weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) until August 10th. The performances begin at 7:30 P.M. at the Fred. B. Cranford Amphitheatre.
