Hickory – Kids Idea Tank is the nation’s biggest entrepreneurship competition for kids age 13 and younger. Finalists pitch their ideas over Zoom to our star-studded panel of Judges for a cash prizes and the coveted Kids Idea Tank trophy.

Kids Idea Tank was founded by children’s author Lowey Bundy Sichol and is made possible thanks to the generous support and sponsorship of PL$.
The contest will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 5pm ET , 4pm CT, 3pm MT, 2pm PT. The deadline to enter is June 1, 2021.
Total time for the event will be approximately 90 minutes. Everything will take place over Zoom.
Recognizing that entrepreneurial lightning can strike at any age, The Kids Idea Tank is seeking business pitches from Charlotte and surrounding area kids up to age 13 to compete for a grand prize of $1,000.
Any invention or business concept is eligible, from a germ of an idea to a prototype of a product. The grand prize will be awarded by a judging panel of successful executives and entrepreneurs. A $500 “audience favorite” winner will be selected by family members, friends and classmates viewing the free online pitch event. Mentorship opportunities will be available for participants as well.
Aspiring founders can submit their applications today. The “Shark Tank”-like finale will host the top 20 applicants this June.

WHO CAN DO IT?
Kids Idea Tank is open to any kid in United States who is age 13 or younger. Kids may enter as an individual or as a team with siblings or friends but all members of the team must be 13 years or younger.
DOES IT COST MONEY TO ENTER?
Kids Idea Tank is free to enter.
CAN I WATCH IT?

WHO CREATED KIDS IDEA TANK?
Lowey Bundy Sichol founded Kids Idea Tank. Lowey is an award-winning children’s author with an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. During her FROM AN IDEA TO… book tour, she recognized that kids naturally had great business ideas and were eager to share them. Yet, no venue existed for budding entrepreneurs in elementary, middle, or junior high school to test out, share, or hone their entrepreneurial skills. Inspired by the hit show, “Shark Tank,” Lowey created Kids Idea Tank to give kids a platform to pitch their ideas… and the world would listen.
