Hickory – The Hickory Community Theatre has one more performance of the family Christmas comedy The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson, this Saturday, December 16th at 2:30pm in the Jeffers Theatre.
In this hilarious classic, Grace Bradley, a mother of two, is tapped to direct their church Christmas pageant because the usual director is down with a broken leg. Completely unprepared, Grace has to contend with the Herdman children, an unruly bunch who take over all the pageant’s major roles. While her husband contends with late dinners because of the hours she’s spending at the church, her children try to find their own place in the show.
Tickets are $10 each with reserved seating. The box office is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12-5. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.hickorytheatre.org.
