Hickory – Hey, kids! Would you like a chance to show off your history knowledge? Ridgeview branch library is having a history themed Jeopardy-style game on Tuesday, November 21, beginning at 4:30 pm. We’ll play in teams and try to answer questions about North Carolina history, world history, music history and more. Maybe it will even help you prepare for a test! What will you win? Bragging rights.
Snacks will be available for all active participants so come on out to flaunt your brain power or to enthusiastically cheer for your friends and neighbors. As the saying goes, “The more you read, the more you know.” Strong readers are encouraged to participate and all are welcome. Ridgeview Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 1st Street SW and 7th Avenue SW, beside the Ridgeview Recreation Center.
All library programs are free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Carole Dennis at the Ridgeview Library, 828-345-6037 or [email protected] or visit the library’s website at www.hickorync.gov/library
