Hickory – Books are not the only things we share at the library. If you love plants, join the Hickory Public Library for a houseplant SWAP! There’s no easier way to share, learn, and add more to our collections than a SWAP at the library. On Monday, Houseplant SWAP, January 10th at 6:00 p.m. you’re invited to bring in healthy plants, rooted in dirt or loose cuttings, and be ready to trade with others. We will have a short conversation about houseplant care and propagation.

This SWAP is to celebrate the opening of the Hickory Public Library’s Plant Propagation and Swap Library, part of Hickory Public Library’s developing makerspace. By offering our community hands-on learning and creative opportunities, we can grow together. The addition of a living library to our makerspace ensures that we will always grow.
