Statesville, NC – The Carolina BalloonFest takes place during the third weekend in October in Iredell County. The 2021 festival will be held Oct. 15, 16, 17 at 531 Old Airport Rd. Statesville, NC 28677.
Carolina BalloonFest is a fun-filled weekend of amazing live entertainment, attractions and family activities. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and bask in the beautiful Carolina autumn weather with the sights and sounds of nearly 50 colorful hot air balloons, which are scheduled to launch twice daily.
Patrons can also experience 2 balloon glows (on Friday and Saturday evening), hot air balloon competitions (Saturday/Sunday morning), an NC wine and craft beer garden, artisan and marketplace village, huge kids zone, and so much more. Oh! And remember to bring your camera!
A portion of proceeds raised through our annual hot air balloon festival is distributed to local nonprofit organizations and community agencies. To date, NBRC, Inc. has donated $787,000 back to the local community in the last 7 years. Learn more about us at CarolinaBalloonFest.com.
