Hickory – On Tuesday, July 14, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Dr. Veronica McComb, Associate Professor of History at Lenoir-Rhyne University, will discuss the historic effort to secure the vote for women in the context of the movement’s poor treatment of African American suffragists.
