Hickory – The first of this semester’s three-part First Friday lecture series at Lenoir-Rhyne University will take place Friday, September 6 at 10 a.m. in Rudisill Library room 127 and will feature Jeff Vahlbusch, Ph.D., founding dean of the Fritz Honors College of Lenoir-Rhyne University. Vahlbusch’s presentation is entitled “Honors Education in Higher Ed: Traditions, Innovations, & Opportunities.” Attendees will participate in an interactive discussion of exciting opportunities for students and for faculty in Honors courses and Honors experiences at colleges and universities.
