New In Theaters And On Disc

Now in Theaters:

Scream 7 – Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is eking out a quiet life when Ghostface arrives on the scene to disrupt her plans in this-haven’t we seen this before? -latest chapter of the seemingly never-ending series. The well documented behind the scenes drama is probably more interesting than anything in the film. The series original creator, Kevin Williamson, directs.

New to Streaming:

She Was Here (*** ½) is a moving documentary portrait of child actress Heather O’Rourke (Poltergeist, Happy Days), whose life was cut short at the age of 12. The film contains many interviews with those who knew her in order to paint a portrait of a bright and talented actress whose loss is still felt, while also dispelling many rumors that have erroneously been spread over the years regarding her demise. Very well done and extremely moving. (Apple)
