Songwriting Workshop – Patrick Beaver Memorial Library
On Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m., Andrew Massey and Nora Kaminski of local band Sycamore Bones will host a songwriting workshop to celebrate National Album Writing Month for teens and adults. VayaHealth Training Sessions
Are you interested in learning more about mental health? Join the staff of VayaHealth at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Thursday, February 16 for two training sessions. “Personality Disorder: Reaction to Interactions” will begin at 10 a.m. and will look at specific personality disorders, what to expect, and treatment options. “Facing the Emotional Challenges of Chronic Illness” will begin at 11 am and will discuss the physical and mental impact of chronic illness. Name that Tune for Senior Adults
Join us at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library for 1950s Name that Tune on Monday, February 20th at 10 a.m. Come out and enjoy some friendly competition as we listen to hits from the 1950s and reminisce. Bring friends or join us on your own and meet new people in our community. This will be the first in a series of three. The following dates will be March 20th and April 17th. Registration is not required.

Join us for Senior Bingo at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on the second Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. The next session will be Monday, February 13. The future dates are planned for March 13, April 10, and May 8. The emphasis of our time is to have fun in a friendly environment. Play is relaxed, making it perfect for people of all playing levels. Bring friends or join us on your own to meet new people in our community. Senior Bingo and Brain Games are sponsored by Friends of Hickory Public Library.
