Hickory – Head into Hickory on June 1 for the first City Walk Summer Celebration. The event will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the parking lot beside the Lowe’s Foods City Park in Downtown Hickory. There will be music, games, a Bourbon Tasting, a beer garden and Barbeque with all the Fixin’s prepared by Smoke This, Market on Main and Hickory Soup Kitchen.

amount of barbeque, beans, slaw and a dinner roll.
Musical entertainment includes Sycamore Bones, Coddle Creek, The Tony Eltora Band, and Scott Moss and the Hundred Dollar Handshakes.
Proceeds will benefit Hickory Soup Kitchen and Hickory Downtown Development.
