Hickory –  Hickory-based shredding company Enviroshred will offer their annual free paper shredding service in the front parking lot of Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Saturday, January 20, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.  Individuals may bring up to two boxes or bags of personal documents to be shredded at no charge.   

Boxes or bags must not be larger than the size of banker boxes (10”H x 15”W x 24”D).   Any type and color of home office paper may be brought for shredding.  Paper clips, staples, manila envelopes and credit cards are allowed.  Heavy metals, newspapers, magazines, and plastic are not allowed. Shredding services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available until the truck is full or until 12pm when the event promptly ends.
