Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre is hosting a very timely and important training opportunity at the theatre on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Partnering with the Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center of Catawba County, we will present Darkness to Light, a revolutionary sexual abuse prevention training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Green Room staff, board of directors, directors, stage managers, teachers, camp workers, etc. will be attending, and we are opening the training to the public as well. The safety and well-being of today’s youth requires diligence and knowledge, and this is an excellent opportunity to equip ourselves to be their advocates.
