Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre’s Performance Ensemble will present The Tree in Me, written by Alice Gomez and directed by Jared Wachsmuth, in a series of free performances at local libraries over the next two weekends.
Set in a dull, gray town of grumbling adults, The Tree in Me follows two young artists as they work to change their community through the power of creativity. This cheerful and silly storybook come to life encourages audiences to embrace the magical, unbounded potential within us all.
Performances will take place on Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the Newton Library; and Saturday, April 5, at 11 a.m. at the Conover Library. All performances are free and open to the public.
