Hickory – Several Zumba classes will be offered at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library during the summer as a way to celebrate the 2018 Summer Learning theme Libraries Rock. Zumba classes at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library will be 6:30 pm on the following Mondays: July 16 and 23, 2018 and August 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2018.
Instructor Maritza Rafael has been certified to teach Zumba since 2011 and she has currently been teaching Zumba weekly at Catawba Valley Medical Center Fitness Plus.
Dance has always been one of her passions and she truly enjoys using it to help make people happy while relieving stress and burning calories. Maritza encourages participants to be yourself, be comfortable, enjoy the music, and have fun.
Zumba is free and open to the public. Registration for the Zumba classes at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is not required. For more information, please call 304-0500 ext. 7235. Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block.
