Hickory – Hickory Public Library will host North Carolina author Scott Reintgen for an author talk at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m.
Reintgen, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, specializes in young adult fantasy and science fiction. He is the author of multiple books and series, including “Tale Spinners,” “Nyxia,” and “Ashlords.”
His book, “Ashlords,” was a featured title on the 2024 Middle School Battle of the Books, hosted by the North Carolina School Library Media Association.
After a discussion about his books, writing process, and the publishing industry, Reintgen will stay for a book signing.
Books will be available for purchase at the conclusion of this event.
Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE in Hickory.
