Western NC Sculpture Center To Open 2D & 3D Exhibit GalleryLenoir, NC – The Western NC Sculpture Center will open a new Exhibits Gallery for 2D and 3D work on Saturday, September 13th from 1 to 5pm. The public is cordially invited to attend.

The Gallery will remain open Saturdays and Sundays; concurrently, WNCSC has also added an ADA-accessible restroom for public use.

WNCSC Sculpture Park is free and open daily during daylight hours. Organized as a nonprofit organization in 2019, the Center offers community events throughout the year, including three live casting demonstrations, school field trips, sculpture hiking trail, artist residencies and a 10,000 sq. ft. studio for working artists. Commissions are also welcome and available in metal foundry work, blacksmithing, woodwork and stonework.

The Center and Park share the campus of the historic Patterson School (1887 to 1987) with the Patterson School Foundation, ten miles north of Lenoir on Highway 268.
