Newton, NC – The Catawba Valley Paralegal Association (CVPA) will host a seminar entitled All About the Register of Deeds Office presented by Angela Henson, Catawba County Register of Deeds. Ms. Henson’s presentation will cover the history of the Register of Deeds Office as well as current operations, hands-on search for real estate records, request vital records, and e-filing documents.
The presentation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Catawba County Register of Deeds Office, Justice Center, 100 Government Drive, Newton, NC. The presentation is one hour in length and is open to North Carolina Certified Paralegals. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early.
The seminar has been approved for one hour of general continuing education credit. Certified paralegals who are not CVPA members and wish to receive credit for this CPE will be charged a $25 certification fee.
